We’re now looking for an Operations Manager to own and elevate this part of the business.

THE ROLE

This is a hands-on, detail-driven role at the centre of amie’s supply chain.

You’ll be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end journey of our wines — from vineyards, through freight and warehousing, to customers across off-trade, on-trade, export, and DTC channels.

You’ll bring structure, foresight, and calm to a fast-moving environment, ensuring our operations run smoothly, efficiently, and sustainably as we grow.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supply Chain & Logistics

  • Manage end-to-end supply chain operations from production to delivery

  • Coordinate with vineyards, freight forwarders, warehouses, and distributors

  • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics across all channels

  • Ensure compliance with relevant shipping, customs, and regulatory requirements

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, cost, and sustainability

Inventory, Forecasting & Planning

  • Manage stock levels across warehouses and channels

  • Lead forecasting and demand planning

  • Balance availability with cost control and waste reduction

  • Monitor slow-moving or ageing stock and implement action plans

Systems & Platforms

  • Manage and optimise our core systems:

    • WineHub (main CRM)

    • Xero

    • Shopify

    • Bowimi

  • Oversee Shopify API integration with our warehouse

  • Troubleshoot system and integration issues

  • Maintain clean, accurate operational data

Order Processing & Finance Support

  • Receive, process, and manage trade and export orders

  • Oversee invoicing and documentation

  • Work closely with finance on reconciliation and reporting

  • Ensure timely, accurate fulfilment

Customer Service & Problem Resolution

  • Manage operational and fulfilment-related customer service issues

  • Resolve delivery, stock, and system problems quickly and thoughtfully

  • Maintain high service standards across all channels

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Leadership

  • Support product launches, campaigns, and growth initiatives

  • Contribute to improving internal processes and workflows

ABOUT YOU

You’ll likely be someone who:

  • Has 2–5 years’ experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, or FMCG/food & drink

  • Is highly organised, structured, and detail-oriented

  • Enjoys building and improving systems

  • Is confident working with data, forecasts, and reporting

  • Is comfortable using CRMs, ERPs, and e-commerce platforms

  • Is proactive, calm under pressure, and solutions-focused

  • Communicates clearly and works well across teams

  • Takes real pride in doing things properly

Experience in wine, spirits, or FMCG is a bonus, but not essential.
