amie wine studio is our brand home and wine bar in Eccleston Yards — a space where great wine and friends come together. As we grow, we’re looking for a Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day running of the studio, ensuring it delivers the highest standards in service, presentation, and experience.

THE ROLE

This is a hands-on, people-focused, operational role at the heart of amie wine studio.

You’ll lead a small, dynamic team, making sure every guest experience is seamless, every shift is well-staffed, and every bottle, plate, and piece of equipment is in its place.

You’ll be confident in running stock, managing costs, supporting promotions and events, and making quick decisions on the fly — all while championing the amie approach to hospitality: warm, personal, and thoughtful.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership & Operations

  • Lead and motivate the amie wine studio team

  • Ensure strong staffing levels for every shift

  • Train, support, and develop team members

  • Manage daily workflows, opening/closing procedures, and operational standards

  • Work closely with Alex (Hospitality Manager) and Will & Abbie (owners)

Stock, Inventory & Equipment

  • Oversee weekly and monthly stocktakes

  • Manage ordering across drinks, food, and equipment

  • Maintain presentation and equipment standards

  • Monitor and minimise wastage

Financial & Cost Management

  • Maintain profit margins and control costs

  • Review weekly sales and performance

  • Work with Alex on labour costs and cost-saving strategies

  • Support budget adherence and operational efficiencies

Customer Experience & Brand Standards

  • Champion an exceptional guest experience

  • Uphold brand standards across service, presentation, and environment

  • Monitor service quality and act on feedback

  • Coordinate private events and on-site promotions with Marketing

  • Support events and tastings, ensuring smooth delivery

Marketing & Promotions Support

  • Collaborate with Marketing team on in-studio promotions

  • Ensure events and activations run seamlessly

  • Provide feedback and ideas to improve guest engagement

ABOUT YOU

You’ll likely be someone who:

  • Has experience managing a small hospitality team or venue

  • Is highly organised, proactive, and reliable

  • Takes pride in exceptional service and attention to detail

  • Can confidently manage stock, costs, and operations

  • Enjoys leading a team and supporting their development

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Communicates clearly and works collaboratively

  • Is hands-on, adaptable, and solutions-focused

Experience in wine, spirits, or food & drink is a bonus, but not essential.
