amie wine studio is our home in Eccleston Yards — a space where great wine, thoughtful food, and brilliant people come together. As we grow, we’re looking for an Assistant Manager to help ensure the studio runs smoothly, delivering high standards across service, team, stock, and guest experience.

THE ROLE

This is a hands-on, supportive, and operational role at the heart of amie wine studio.

You’ll work closely with the Manager, leading shifts, supporting the team, and ensuring everything from stock to service is running seamlessly. You’ll be confident in managing stock, helping with costs, supporting promotions and events, and maintaining the highest standards across the studio.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership & Operations

  • Support the Manager in leading and motivating the wine studio team

  • Assist in maintaining staffing levels and scheduling for every shift

  • Train, support, and mentor team members

  • Help manage daily workflows, opening/closing procedures, and operational standards

  • Work closely with Alex (Hospitality Manager) and Will & Abbie (owners)

Stock, Inventory & Equipment

  • Assist with weekly and monthly stocktakes

  • Support ordering and inventory management for drinks, food, and equipment

  • Maintain presentation and operational standards

  • Help monitor and minimise wastage

Financial & Cost Support

  • Assist in maintaining profit margins and controlling costs

  • Support weekly sales review and reporting

  • Help implement cost-saving initiatives and labour management

  • Ensure accurate recording of operational costs and stock movements

Customer Experience & Brand Standards

  • Champion an exceptional guest experience alongside the Manager

  • Uphold brand standards across service, presentation, and environment

  • Monitor service quality and act on feedback

  • Assist with private events and on-site promotions, working with Marketing

  • Ensure every guest interaction reflects the amie approach to hospitality

Marketing & Events Support

  • Help deliver in-studio promotions and events

  • Coordinate private events in collaboration with Marketing and the Manager

  • Support creative and operational aspects of activations and tastings

ABOUT YOU

You’ll likely be someone who:

  • Has hospitality experience, ideally in wine, food & drink, or similar settings

  • Is organised, proactive, and reliable

  • Enjoys supporting and developing a team

  • Can manage stock, costs, and operational tasks confidently

  • Is comfortable leading shifts and making quick decisions on the floor

  • Communicates clearly and works collaboratively

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Is hands-on, adaptable, and solutions-focused

Experience in wine or food & beverage is a bonus, but not essential.
